Greetings!

2013 was an incredible year for the Rainbow Center! The Rainbow Center moved into a beautiful new space thanks to generous contributions and support from donors like you. We have seen an increase in the number of community members seeking services and utilizing the space. "It feels like home" is the most common phrase voiced by newcomers to our new, bright, beautiful, dignified building.  With your help, the Rainbow Center has been an essential part of the incredible strides made in awareness, visibility, and access to services for the LGBTQ community.

While we celebrate some stunning gains like the passage of Marriage Equality and the expansion of federal benefits to LGB partners, there is still much work to be done. On a daily basis we see clients who need access to LGBTQ competent services, help navigating job discrimination, employers who need LGBTQ 101 training, and many people who need a safe gathering space. We are the LGBTQA resource and safe gathering hub for the entire South Sound. Help keep us positioned to provide and improve these services in 2014!

Your contribution today supports our general operating fund, allowing us to continue providing: 24 hours per week of open community center hours, low cost rental space for 13 partner groups, access to an impressive LGBTQA library, free computer resources, celebrations like Out in the Park (with 8,000 attendees in 2013), and a place for the entire LGBTQA community to call HOME!
